We know that being ill or disabled for a long time because of a physical or mental health problem can cause difficulties, not only for the person who is ill or disabled but also for their partners, carers or family members. We also know that people who have strong supportive relationships with others can cope better with their health problems or their caring role.
Unfortunately our ‘Time to Talk’ project providing free relationship counselling for people affected by long term ill health has now closed to new registrations. We hope to be able to provide a similar service again in the future.
Anyone is welcome to contact us about our counselling services for couples, individuals, families, children and young people. Please also look at our Help with the cost of counselling page for more information about our other funded counselling schemes.
Counselling sessions can take place face to face at our Leeds, York or Harrogate centres, or via Webcam. For more information about how our Webcam counselling service works, please see our Webcam Counselling page.
